Logistics

The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) has a long and successful history of developing logistical management systems. Work with the federal government sector dates back to the 1980s and the Lab has managed to spawn these successfully fielded systems into recent high-profile projects that proved significant in the Gulf War (ADANS, JFAST) and increased combat readiness for the Army National Guard (ORSE, OSCAR). These systems may be viewed at the link below.

Our capabilities feature military experience, state-of-the-art software and hardware tool sets, transportation and other logistical modeling experience; plus the capability to put together a talented team representing years of logistics development experience.

  • ADANS – Air Mobility Command Deployment Analysis Systems
  • JFAST – Joint Flow and Analysis System for Transportation
  • ORSE – Optimal Redistribution of Supply Excess
  • OSCAR – Object Supply Capability Adaptive Redesign
