Information about Ross Toedte

Ross J. Toedte is a research staff member in the National Center for Computational Sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His principle interests are scientific visualization, immersive environments, and science communication. He has worked in the field of scientific visualization for over 15 years on a diverse range of visualization projects including dense computational grids of simulated stellar explosions, magnetic properties in atomic-scale alloys, and carbon cycle calculations in global climate change. He is a co-principle investigator of the TeraScale Supernova Initiative funded by DOE's Office of Science under the SciDAC program, co-principle investigator of a project developing distributed visualization techniques for high-volume computational science data under the Computational Science Initiative, and a member of
ACM-SIGGRAPH.
