My intern experience was great, I start
out with a lot of literature. My first book was Theory of Modeling
and Simulation by Bernard Zeigler.My mentor sat me down and try
to teach me as much as possible about Discrete Event Systems.
My first major assisgnment was to write the code and explain the
fire spread model
in C++. We then moved on to more details in my research, which
can be viewed on my
research
page. I wrote a scientific
abstract
and a research paper which
will published in Department of Energy Intern book. I also created
this website, a
poster
and powerpoint
presentation
which I had to present to the DOE sponsors.
