This experience will help me to transform my goals Into results.The Research Alliance in Math and Science program is designed to provide collaborative research experiences among faculty and students at colleges or universities and DOE national laboratory researchers. The goals of the program are to provide the opportunity for undergraduate students to gain useful research experience in the exciting areas of Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology (SMET) and empower the students with general research methods, specific skills and techniques in these areas, and presentation and writing skills.

Tennessee FIRST LEGO League Tournament Registration Application

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a non-profit organization dedicated to making science and technology “cool” for kids.FIRST Lego League tournaments enable teams of kids to build robots and compete in tournaments that test the engineering, programming, and functionality of their robotic designs.

The purpose of my research is to effectively build a user-friendly, web-based registration and reporting application for the Tennessee FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Tournaments. ·Tennessee FLL tournament registration site (www.tennfll.org) will enable team coaches to enter and revise registration information for tournaments Site will also enable site administrators to update tournament data without having to edit individual pages on the site. Application will provide a broad, versatile base for future tournament registration requirement.
