As a result of industrialization, there has been an continuous increase of carbon dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere.
Climate changes, such as global warming and rising sea-levels, may be a result of this increase. Because increased
carbon dioxide directly affects plant photosynthesis, an increase in plant growth may occur, therefore affecting ecosystems.
