Software Application Services
The Software Application Services team strives to bring together functional and end users throughout the Laboratory by providing information system project management and technical leadership to various business areas. Our group supports business operational areas through systems planning foresight and the consideration of further development needed to achieve process integration. We also arrange for these projects to align with other Laboratory system-related objectives.
Our staff are experts in the areas of project management, systems analysis and design, web site design, web application development, database design and creation, data warehousing, and strategic planning. We are the developers and maintainers of the ORNL public, internal, and extranet websites along with many more.
Software Application Services is strategically positioned to take advantage of all the advanced technical competency that the Information Technology Services Division offers.
