Visitor Badging
All visitors to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory are required to pre-register. Pre-registration is required to enter the security portals (access may be denied if you have not pre-registered). Photo identification is required for check-in at the ORNL Visitor Center. Non-U.S. citizens are required to present current passport and visa documentation as photo identification.
Parking
The ORNL Visitor Center is 4.2 miles from the East Portal.
Town Hall parking is in the upper parking lot on other side of Bethel Valley Road across from the ORNL Visitor Center. Exit the first right to access the overflow parking from the round-about. Town Hall visitors should plan to park in the upper two tiers.
Visitor parking is severely limited and cannot accommodate the number of vehicles anticipated for the ORNL Town Hall Meeting. Arrangements have been made for participants to board buses in front of the hotels (Springhill and Homewood Suites, Turkey Creek; Jameson, Doubletree, and Comfort Inn, Oak Ridge) at 6:45 a.m. Local participants will board the buses in front of the Visitor Center to be transported to Building 8600 for the Town Hall Meeting.
Visitors arriving later should call the ORNL Taxi from the Visitor Center lobby for transportation to the Town Hall Meeting (Taxi ph: 680-2303, website).
